Roscislaw Artur Klonowski was born in 1972 in Poznań, Poland. He lived in Poland until 1999, after which he permanently moved to Sweden. He began his artistic journey at the age of 14, inspired by the paintings of Vincent van Gogh. He is a painter, photographer, and traveler. His photographic works have been distinguished by National Geographic Polska.

Klonowski’s art gravitates towards surrealist painting, where the real world intertwines with oneiric visions. His works are characterized by contrasts between beauty and destruction, reflections on the fragility of existence, the condition of contemporary humanity, and the inevitability of transformation.

The artist also creates portraits. Since 2022, he has been actively involved in the artistic and cultural life of Stockholm – he is a member of the Proformart association, part of the Kulturföreningen Ligtan gallery, and collaborates with the Polish community group Polska Sällskapet Ogniwo. He has presented his works at Ligtan Gallery, Galleri Hornsgatan 96, and Österåkers Library, among others.
